Brandolyn's Gift at Child Haven
As we all know, looking your best goes a long way toward feeling your best. For many children in Child Haven and the Foster Care system, it's difficult to develop the self-confidence that comes with looking great without tools like makeup and non-essential personal hygiene products, which are often considered luxuries.
Children in Child Haven and the Foster Care system held a very special place in former Clark County Deputy District Attorney, Brandolyn Henderson's heart. In honor of her memory, Brandolyn's Gift, a 501(c)3 organization is giving these children a place to "shop" for these little luxuries... items they can call their own and take with them wherever they are placed.

As Clark County Deputy District Attorney, Brandolyn dedicated her career to child welfare. Children in Child Haven and the Foster Care system held a very special place in her heart. Brandolyn’s internal beauty was as obvious as her external beauty, and her desire to help children find their inner strength and self-confidence endeared her to many.

Child Haven
Child Haven has been Clark County’s shelter for abused and neglected children since 1962 and has provided temporary shelter for thousands of children over the years. Child Haven provides a safe and nurturing place where children removed from their homes are provided food, clothing and physical and emotional care until they are returned to their families or placed in a foster home.
Child Haven provides care for children 24 hours a day, seven days a week, every day of the year. Approximately 336 children a month come in to Child Haven before they are placed safely in the community.
